2.Meanwhile,
a voluptuous southern belle, Rani, catches Raja’s eye. There follows some
choreographed bosom thrusting and rhythmic pelvis gyrating. The couple is
accompanied by 25 colorful dancers in the scenic locations of Switzerland
or Khandala (depending on the budget). Tragedy strikes as one of his innocent
sisters is raped by the Thakur’s son. Robbed of her innocence and shunned
by the villagers, she is on the verge of committing suicide. |
|
3.Disillusioned,
disgusted and wounded by the corrupt police who have sworn allegiance to
the Thakur and his goons, Raja decides to take the law into his own hands.
He kills 12 of the thakur’s goons with a lone bamboo stick. Raja now becomes
RAJA BHAI , most feared man in the entire village. With threats of violence,
Raja bhai persuades the Thakur’s son to wed his sister whom he learns is
pregnant with the illegitimate spawn of that unholy union. All this to avoid
bringing shame and disgrace upon his family. |

4.Raja
Bhai now becomes part of the corrupt system that created him, smuggling
imported fountain pens into the village and opening illegal Cabaret bars.
His mother soon finds out about his nefarious activities and unable to bear
the shock succumbs to a heart attack. Raja is full of remorse and believes
he is responsible for his mother’s untimely death at 98. Raja decides to
change for the better, settle down and marry Rani. What follows is a musical
interlude set in Switzerland or Khandala (depending on the budget). On his
way to surrender to the police, Raja is shot dead in an encounter thanks
to the evil scheming of the Thakur. Before dying, however, Raja avenges
himself by killing the Thakur with a lone bamboo stick. |

Thus
ends the saga of Raja, but his spirit continues to live on, as the unborn
child, in Rani’s belly.
