Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, who are known for their Westernised compositions, have created a soundtrack dominated by earthy and ethnic sounds.
BAB kicks off with the catchy Dhadak Dhadak featuring Udit Narayan and Sunidhi Chauhan. Seems like S-E-L wanted to recreate the Mahi Ve magic on Nach Baliye, a peppy Punjabi dance number peppered with English lyrics. Though both versions of the title track are cute and catchy, the qawwali, which closes the album, disappoints.
Verdict: Gulzar's lyrics and S-E-L's ‘bubbly’ music form a refreshing combo quite like one's early morning ‘bun’-n-‘tea’!
